The District Supply Department has given a list of consumers for printing smart ration cards to the concerned agency. First, smart cards will be created in the shops of ration dealers whose verification of 90% of the consumers has been completed. District Supply Officer Jaswant Singh Kandari ji has said that at present 1,050 cheap throat shops are presently available in Dehradun district. There are four lakh ration cards present. Out of which 2.25 lakh white cards are made under the National Food Security Act and 15,000 cards are kept with Antyodaya cards and 1.5 lakh yellow cards.https://sarkarigo.com/


Uttarakhand Smart Ration Cards Verified so far

Under this smart card scheme, 90 per cent of the consumers of 50 ration card dealers have been verified. There are 100 other ration dealers, which have been verified more than 80 per cent and more than 500 ration dealers have been verified by more than 70 per cent. The work of printing of smart cards will be started as soon as the order is issued by the government. After that, all ration card holders will get smart cards at the earliest.
